Seillans, France

Just over an hour’s drive from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, you’ll find three
charming hilltop villages - Seillans, Fayence, and Montauroux - surrounded by
vineyards, olive groves, and forests.

Tip: If you want to explore the surrounding towns, renting a car will make
your trip much easier.

Seillans features a steep, medieval center accessible only on
foot, filled with small art shops and restaurants.

At its heart, on a shady square where a fountain gently trickles, lies the beautiful Hôtel des Deux Rocs. Nestled in the upper part of the village, opposite the famous Deux Rocs, this former 17th-century mansion offers a truly atmospheric stay.

Things to do

Fayence Market

Located on Place Thiers, this large and lively market has around 90 stalls set in a beautiful square. Go early in the morning on Thursdays or Saturdays, and finish with lunch at Le 8.

Wine tasting

Two vineyards are within walking distance of Seillans: Val d’Iris and Château des Selves. Head to Château des Selves for wine tasting with tapas, or visit Val d’Iris for a more relaxed, local experience.

Local produce

Stop by La Ferme de Cairns for delicious local goat cheese.

How to get there

The easiest way to reach the villages is to hire a car at the airport. You can fly to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, which is the closest international airport, and from there it’s around a 60-minute drive.

Alternatively, you can fly to Toulon-Hyères Airport, which is at a similar distance.
